Raingutter Regatta Pack Meeting Tonight…Class B uniforms

Hi Pack 1776!

Sending a quick reminder the Raingutter Regatta pack meeting is tonight at 7:00pm, and class B (pack t-shirts) are the attire. Usual location...Coyote Creek MPR. Boys will probably get a little wet, so no need for the full class A uniform.

The event tonight will be a lot of fun, and our goal is fun and SAFE! With water comes some risk. Our priorities are safety first, then fun, and we will have both! Most of the leaders will be busy running the races, so please help us keep the boys safe by monitoring the boys and areas around the tracks for spilled water. If you see water on the floor please help keep the floors around the track dry. There will be towels and a mop.
Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight!

Thanks,

Steve

Pack Meeting – Tomorrow in the MPR April 18

Hi Cub Scouts of Pack 1776!

Don't forget, we have a Pack Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday evening at the MPR, 7:00.

Many of you will be advancing to the next levels of scouting. You have worked so hard this year in your den meetings under the guidance of our World Class Den Leaders and parents, that you have completed your achievements.

Awards Chair Ammy Pluth picked up all of the necessary awards. (She loves to shop, by the way).

Tigers are graduating to Wolves

Wolves are graduating to Bears

Bears are graduating to Webelos I's

Remember at our last meeting, Webelos I's graduated to Webelos II. Pretty cool, now it's your turn.

We will sing a couple of songs. Since you guys are grown up, I say we pull out the Marshall Amp and Gibson Les Paul, save the acoustic for camping.

Plus, Committee Chair Steve and I have a surprise graduation present for you. It's a surprise. That means you have to see it for yourself! You'll need it for our last pack meeting of the year in May.

Get Ready to Rock and Roll Forward Tomorrow!

Pack 1776 Spring Camping

Pack 1776 Families,

Come join us for some spring camping at beautiful New Brighton Beach State Park!!

The campground is located about one mile from downtown Capitola and is a short walk to a half mile long beach backed by bluffs that offer amazing ocean views and is forested with cypress and Monterey pine. Raccoons, deer and other animals inhabit this wooded upland as well as the park’s grassy coastal terrace where the campground and picnic area are situated. Migrating monarch butterflies winter in the park’s groves. The campground has ample bathrooms and showers and the average high temperature in May is 72° and the average low is 49°.

As always, the cost is minimal - $15/person/night which covers the site, food, and all activities. If you decide to stay only one night, please let us know which night you are staying.

** All scouts who sign up will receive their very own mess kit to use during the trip and to keep as their own **

We also highly encourage all other family members to bring their own reusable dining sets for meal times to reduce our trash and our Pack footprint.

Payment MUST be received BY May 1st to secure your spots! This is to allow for proper planning and selection of helpers. No excuses please. A standard policy of No Refunds applies. We are limited to 33 campers for this trip so get your payment in early.

Please feel free to contact me with questions via email.

Scouts Ticket Discount: Batman Live at HP Pavilion at San Jose

Discount ticket opportunity to
Batman Live – September 20-23
HP Pavilion at San Jose

For the first time in DC Comics history, Batman – the world's most popular DC Super Hero – is now an all new, live-action arena adventure, which is taking the world by storm.

BATMAN LIVE – World Arena Tour is a 15 million dollar stage production with an engrossing and original story featuring a cast of 42 actors and circus trained acrobats, a 3D Gotham landscape, a symphonic score recorded by a 92-piece symphony orchestra, custom-built and state-of-the-art stage, a 100-foot bat-shaped LED video wall, big fight sequences, illusions, pyrotechnics and the impressive Batmobile, designed especially for the show by legendary racing car designer Professor Gordan Murray.

How good does that sound? With all of these features making an appearance at the event, it will be hard for you to miss out on everything that is has to offer. Aspects like LED video has become vastly popular in recent years, particularly for those who want to attract the attention of people at events like these, as well as for their business. Without pixel pitch, none of this would be made possible. You see, pixel pitch relates directly to the image resolution of the display; the closer they are, the higher the resolution of the picture. And when it comes to grabbing the attention of every Batman fan in the area, this can significantly make a difference. Not only that, but the big fight sequences and pyrotechnics are bound to make an impression too.

Click HERE to see a SNEAK PREVIEW!

CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE DISCOUNTED TICKETS!

Scouts receive a complimentary Scout Patch!

The deadline to place your order is Monday, September 17 at 5pm but buy your tickets now to receive the best available seats. All shows are anticipated to sellout!
