We’ll be starting the year with fun activities and announcements about what’s ahead this fall.

Location: 🌲 Sat 9/13 Rock City & Tarantula Quest
Join us for our first hike of the season! A great way to explore nature, get some fresh air, and spend time together as a pack. Don’t forget your 6 essentials and a water bottle. Bring the whole family!
🇺🇸 9/11 Patriot Day – Flag Ceremony
Date/Time: Thursday, September 11, 2025 – 8:00 am (Scouts arrive by 7:45 am)
Location: Coyote Creek Elementary School
Our Pack has the honor of leading the school’s Patriot Day Flag Ceremony. The Cub Scouts will present the flags, the school choir will perform, and the entire school community will come together to remember and reflect. Please make sure your Scout is in full Class A uniform and on time for this important event.

Aug Pack Meeting

👕 Uniforms: Scouts should wear Class A uniforms. New Scouts are not required to have a full uniform yet—just come and enjoy the experience!
What’s happening:
- 🍿 Popcorn University — Learn how popcorn sales work this year, prize info, and how it supports our Pack.
- 🔦 Lantern Ceremony — We’ll learn the Scout Law together in a special way to light the path for our year.
- 🧩 Den Time — While parents hear details, Scouts will meet with their dens for fun icebreakers and games.
- 😋 Popcorn Tasting — Try some flavors at the end of the meeting!

- Post-dated volunteer deposit checks for $200 for Pack leadership

Rocket Day 2025!
Calling all adventurous young scouts and their families!
Join us for an exhilarating Rocket Day, the thrilling kick-off event of the cub scout calendar! Witness the wonder in your cub scout's eyes as they learn to build their very own rockets from scratch, tapping into their creativity and problem-solving skills. The anticipation mounts as the countdown begins, and together, we'll watch these mini-engineering marvels soar across the open field, filling the air with laughter and excitement.
Not only is Rocket Day an absolute blast, but it's also an excellent opportunity to meet new friends and welcome fresh faces into our scouting community.
Don't miss this chance for fun-filled family bonding and an unforgettable day of high-flying adventure!

LAUNCH PAD: Coyote Creek Elementary - Blacktop (behind the school, to the right, past the basketball courts)
WEAR: Comfortable Attire. Class A for Leaders.
BRING: Refillable Water Bottle (Full of Water), Sunscreen, and a Hat. Oh, and if you want a little sit down, please bring a folding chair.

RECRUIT:
Parents, we need your help! You can now sign up online for Cub Scouting and invite friends to join too! If your friend joins, you earn a Recruiter strip that you can display on your Class A uniform!

REGISTRATION:
Please review the registration requirements on the Pack 1776 Website and bring all documents along to Rocket Day so your scout is ready for the first Pack Meeting on Wednesday, August 27th 2025, 6:30pm - 8pm at Coyote Creek Elementary in the MPR!
July 8-10 Meridian Cub Scout Day Camp
Who can play?
Scouts and non-scout friends and siblings who will be in 1st to 5th grade in fall 2025 may join. 1st graders (those currently in Kindergarten) will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Scouts BSA scouts may join as Junior Helpers. Parents of all participants get to join in on the fun for free!
